A full wedding photography tour

You can experience a full, guided wedding tour on these pages.

Follow the links and I’ll take you through each part of the day, accompanied by photographs that illustrate how IPS Photography can document and commemorate your special day.

This tour covers a single wedding held at one location, in this case a hotel. Everything from the bride preparation to the first glance took place here, but it is important to know that each wedding is different, and many weddings often move to a number of different venues.

When you call me, I’ll cover all of this with you in our initial consultation, so you can get a good idea of all the different configurations available.

So, let’s begin…

Capturing the Details

I usually arrive about an hour to forty-five minutes before the ceremony. This gives me a chance to have a look around the venue, find the wedding coordinator or vicar and get to know the rules – no two weddings are the same and different venues have different rules so it’s important that I get to know them and only take photos only when it’s appropriate.

But it also gives me a chance to capture the details.

As every bride knows, your wedding is special not just because you’re getting married – but because of all the time, planning and attention to detail that goes into even the smallest things.

I know how important the little details are, so I make sure I get pictures of the venue, flowers in hall, the guest book, the cake, balloons and table decorations, including place cards, settings and centrepieces – commemorating everything that goes into making your wedding special.
